Delete your account

If you have signed in (Telegram, Apple or Google): open Profile → Settings → Account and choose Delete account, then confirm. Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.

If you have not signed in: the same screen, Profile → Settings → Account, offers Delete my data on this phone. It deletes this anonymous account from the server; the app then starts a new, empty one.

• Your profile and profile photo.
• Your streak and the server's copy of your wake-up record.
• Badges and Safa Tong.
• Dhikr counts, goals and the phrases you wrote.
• Saved articles, and duas you sent and received.
• Your messages to support and the reports you sent.
• Device records, push tokens and notification history.
• Usage statistics.
• Linked sign-in services (Telegram, Apple, Google) and all sessions.

The leaderboards refresh every 15 minutes, so your name can remain on them for up to 15 minutes.

Payment records — a completed donation or purchase is kept for accounting, with the link to your account removed.

Records without your identity — "JazakAllahu khayran" taps you gave and reports other people made about you are kept without any link to your account; error reports are kept the same way until they are deleted after 45 days.

Backups — deleted data disappears from database backups within 14 days and from file backups within 8 weeks.

A store purchase stays with your Apple or Google account. Deleting your Safa account does not cancel or refund it, and you can restore it later with "Restore purchases".

Alarms, settings and the wake-up record stored on the phone stay there until you uninstall the app. On iPhone, the app's install identifier remains in the Keychain after uninstalling; it is no longer connected to any data from the deleted account.

Write to devasqarov@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Safa account". Send it from the email address of the Apple or Google account you sign in with, or, if you use Telegram, include your Telegram @username. We will confirm that the account is yours, delete it within 30 days and reply to let you know.

You do not have to delete your account to stop being seen. In Profile → Edit profile you can make your profile private, leave the leaderboards and hide your support total, dhikr and received duas.
